The NEDC is creating its first massive data corpus, comprising over a decade's worth of clinical EEGs recorded in the neurology department at Temple University Hospital (TUH). The data will include about 22,000 clinical EEGs and their accompanying physician reports, and will represent the largest database of EEG signals by at least two orders of magnitude. Although all HIPAA (i.e. patient identifying) information has been rigorously redacted, vital information is being retained such as patient age, gender, medical history, medications, and clinical diagnosis. We expect the data will be ready for public release by the end of 2013.
